Big Bend is tough, rugged, diverse, mostly untouched, a bit intimidating, yet inviting, hosting a variety of wildlife and lets you escape from routine to the experiences of lifetime
The cypress trees are really something, as they hold their grounds strong and are part of this amazing ecosystem, that not only hosts some of the amazing species of fish and birds but also creates a source of income for the locals in the form of fishing and tourist activities. The swamp is not very deep, probably four feet deep. We were told that, the Alligators haven’t ever attacked humans, in fact they are very shy and go into hiding and surface only during nights.
Living momentarily in a small town, getting close to farmlands and seeing the cattle from close was real fun
There is no end to fun here but kids can get really crazy and you might want to watch your wallet before they get over boarded
They have always put smile on my face while parking at bull creek road in the morning or brightened my evenings, during the walks in my neighborhood
